Capture your moments on PS5
Learn the create menu before you need to save a screenshot or recent gameplay.
Open the create menu
Press the DualSense create button to access capture options. The menu lets you take a screenshot, save recent gameplay or start a new recording. Exact shortcuts can depend on your configured button settings.
Practise before the moment
Try a short capture in a game you already own. Review it in Media Gallery and check the image framing, video length and audio before relying on the same setup later.
Share deliberately
- Review the capture before posting it.
- Check whether other players’ voices or identifying information are included.
- Trim the clip to the moment you want to show.
- Keep story spoilers out of titles and preview images.
