The Xbox Wireless Controller’s dedicated Share button provides quick access to screenshots and video captures. The getting-started guide demonstrates tapping or holding it for different captures.

Test your configuration

Use a game you already own to make a test capture. Review the result before recording something important. If the button does not behave as expected, inspect your controller mapping and capture settings rather than assuming all controllers use the same shortcuts.

Prepare a useful clip

Choose a short moment with a clear beginning and end. Check what voices, account names and notifications are visible or audible before sharing. Avoid revealing a story twist in the thumbnail.
